Brooke began dancing at the age of two, training in Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Contemporary.

Brooke is thrilled to continue to share her knowledge with the dance world providing valuable feedback to young aspiring dancers whilst adjudicating at local dance competitions.

Most recently you would have seen Brooke on stage with HAMA’s Production of the Christmas Spectacular showing at Crown theatre. Prior to opening Elite Brooke worked on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in a specialty position as Tumbler/Dancer and Aerialist. Prior to landing her dream job Brooke could be found tumbling and cheering her way around the basketball court for the Perth Wildcats. Brooke has had the opportunity of a life time throughout her professional dancing career which included International travel all over the world. Brooke has also performed in the musical Annie, appeared in televisions commercials, music video clips, telethon, and many more corporate gigs in Perth. 

Brooke won many prestigious awards during her dance career, including National 1st Overall Champion, Australian Cheerleader of the Year 2005 and West Australian State Champion. Completed all her exams with Honours Plus.

Before opening Elite Dance Company Brooke taught for many schools in Perth and Canada.  Having worked with choreographers from all over the world.

Progressing Ballet Technique Qualified Teacher

Marhys began dancing at the early age of 2, in Canberra, where she completed all her dance training. Marhys completed all her Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams including Advanced 2, and multiple CSTD jazz exams.

Marhys went on to teach in Canberra for the next 5 years, with her former students receiving many successes with placements in prestigious schools through Australia and New Zealand such as; The Australian Ballet School, Victorian Secondary School of the Arts, Queensland College of Dance, New Zealand School of Dance and more. In 2019, she coached 3 junior students for their variation and open classes for the Alana Haines Australasian Awards. In a pool of over 160 dancers, 1 student made it to the Quarter Finals and another to the top 8, receiving a scholarship to Mcdonald College.

Marhys is a registered Progressing Ballet Technique with Marie Walton Mahon teacher and was featured on some promotional images for the program. After spending almost her entire life in, and around the dance studio, Marhys’ true passions are in teaching the love of Ballet and ensuring everyone reaches their full potential.

Rhyli Nieves

Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts

Rhyli Nieves is a creator/performer/choreographer/teacher who has been dancing and creating since the age of 5. Rhyli is currently back in Perth from Sydney where she further developed her hip hop/ commercial training, as well as completing her Diploma in Musical Theatre at Brent Street.

She has completed her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts at the Australian Performing Arts Network. Although primarily training in urban and hip hop styles, Rhyli has in depth experience in multiple genres such as commercial styles, musical theatre, jazz, heels, contemporary and lyrical. During her dance journey, Rhyli has performed and choreographed for events such as Perth World Supremacy Battlegrounds; temp. Company contemporary art show; Colosoul Magazine; Hip Hop International Perth Showcase; Heathers the Musical at Perth Fringe; HAMA Productions High School Musical On Stage; The Crown Christmas Spectacular; and Dance captain for Wizard of Oz at the Regal Theatre.

Bringing an absolute bundle of energy into the room, Rhyli’s biggest priorities for her classes is to educate on the style, find freedom in rhythm and the glow of music, and have her students learn something new each week. Feel confident in being themselves and their individuality every time they step in the room.
